Kit Review: Kalenji Elio 3/4 Tights

Printed leggings are a staple in my workout wardrobe. The bolder the print, the better!

Kalenji have just launched their ‘Elio’ range for Summer 2015, with an emphasis on bright colours, breathable fabrics and pieces which can be coordinated and layered. These Elioplay 3/4 Tights caught my eye as I love the deep purple colour and sketchy black print.

The leggings feature a reflective strip, gathered fabric over the knee and a wide waistband with internal drawstring. Lots of attention to design detail, which you wouldn’t usually find on a cheaper brand. They have been designed to allow the wearer to listen to music on the move and so the zippered pocket is a key feature for holding an iPod. I don’t tend to listen to music when I run, but the pocket is ideal for keeping keys safe.

I’ve worn these leggings on several runs and gym sessions, and pleased to report they stay up! There is nothing worse than having to hitch up your leggings throughout a workout. The fabric is a little thinner than some high-end fitness brands, but still completely opaque.

The Kalenji brand is exclusively available at Decathlon, and this particular style is also available in a plain grey or black/white graphic print. For just £10.99, I might pick up a few pairs!

I do find Decathlon’s sizing a little odd, so I would recommend taking your measurements and checking against their sizing chart if ordering online, to make sure you get the correct fit.

Decathlon sent me the leggings for review, but as always as opinions are my own.

Have you tried any products from the Kalenji range?
