After thinking about it for months and months, I’m going to start a blog to document my love of fitness, fashion and whatever else I fancy writing about. I’ve been following loads of inspiring blogs for a while now, and decided it’s time to attempt a blog of my own.
I’m Lucy, a 29 year old Fashion Designer from Essex UK. I’m also qualified as a Nutrition Advisor, and I enjoy running, Bikram yoga, travel and reading. I am also currently having improvers swimming lessons, in the hope that I can one day complete a triathlon! I’ve tried various types of exercise over the past few years including trampolining lessons, rock climbing, Zumba, weight lifting, barrecore and belly dancing. Right now, I’m focusing on my running with the aim to take part in a half-marathon at some point in 2014. I began running in 2011 with the couch-to-5k programme and built up to taking part in the Adidas Women’s 5k Challenge in the same year. Since then I’ve run several 5k races, and two 10k runs, my next race is the Cambridge Town and Gown 10k on Sunday 6th October.
